New Year’s Grand Goma Ceremony
We perform Goma fire rituals and we pray for world peace and a year of happiness. The local tradition is to visit Yonako Fudoson (Shingon) and Zenkoji (Pure Land Buddhism).

Shushoe/Ninnoe Grand Goma Ceremony
At 11 AM, we perform Goma fire rituals and we pray for abundant harvest and longevity. The local tradition is to visit Yonako Fudoson (Shingon) and Zenkoji (Pure Land Buddhism).
January 15
Goma fire rituals
This ritual consists in burning votive tablets as a propitiatory act. A sermon is held before regular Goma rituals. The chief priest or the deputy priest holds a sermon calm and warm the hearts, and heal your mind (10:30 AM) After Goma rituals, a healing ceremony is performed by one of our yamabushi. For those who wish to receive an individual prayer during Goma rituals, please let us know beforehand. If you participate make sure you come to the reception before 10:30 AM. There is an admission fee to pay and a separate fee for individual prayers.
